Photography Is more than seeing, it’s feeling

it’s feeling

Pt. 1

In the beginning…

I've always been drawn to photographs and the history behind them. As a child, photos were my way of staying close to my dad. I would spend hours flipping through my family’s photo albums and reminiscing about summers spent in Colorado. That connection is what inspired me to take a film & darkroom class in 2006, where I became fascinated with the entire process—from the click of the shutter to watching the images slowly develop and come to life.

Pt. 2

special moments...

It wasn't until I got married and started a family that I realized how special and temporary these moments really are. Becoming a wife has shown me how love can grow, change, and inspire. Becoming a mother has taught me to see the magic in the mundane and beauty in the mess. Noticing how fleeting this beautiful life is, my desire to document and hold onto it grew into a passion I knew I wanted to share with others.

Pt. 3

LEAVING A LEGACY...

I love connecting with new people and I sentimentalize everything. Helping others preserve their most cherished memories in an artistic and authentic way is what fills my soul. I feel so blessed to do what I love and wholeheartedly believe that we all deserve these keepsakes, these legacies, to hold onto the moments that define us—for ourselves, the people we love, and for the generations to come.

As someone who has always seen the world through an intuitive and empathic lens, inspired by movies, music, and the stories we tell, I find meaning in the small quiet moments: the stolen glances, laughter between close friends, the way the light hits just right. It’s these moments that I strive to capture in my work. I want my photographs to feel like a favorite song, a hug from a loved one, a scene from a home video—a piece of nostalgia that brings you back to a moment in time.

My values

Connection

Building meaningful relationships is the cornerstone of my work, and my life. I prioritize authenticity and inner depth over surface-level interactions. Getting to know you—your story, your quirks, your relationship—allows me to create images that resonate deeply. I want to collaborate with you, ensuring that every photograph feels personal, heartfelt, and true to who you are.

Empathy

Always in tune with the emotions of others, I take a compassionate and nonjudgmental approach to everything in life. From listening to your vision to being right there in the moment with you, I strive to create a space where you feel understood and at ease, allowing me to capture images that are as genuine as the emotions behind them.

Creativity

Photography is more than just documentation—it’s an art form. I find inspiration in the beauty of the world around us and strive to craft images that are as unique as you and the love you share. As an avid daydreamer I’m always thinking of new ideas/perspectives to integrate into my work and my love for film photography inspires me to slow down and approach each shot with intention and a sense of nostalgia.
